Chocolate Oats Raisin Cookies

Ingredients

  1. Oats – 1 cup
  2. Cocoa Powder (Unsweetened) – 2 tbsp
  3. Jaggery / Organic Brown Sugar – 1/3 cup
  4. Flax seed meal – 2 tbsp
  5. Raisins – 1/2 cup
  6. Cinnamon Powder – 1 tsp
  7. Butter – 1/3 cup

Direction

  1. Powder the oats in a blender along with sugar / Jaggery
  2. Mix the flax seed meal in about 2 tbsp of water and keep aside.
  3. Mix the oats , flax seed , sugar, cocoa powder, raisins, cinnamon and melted butter to form a soft dough.
  4. Make into cookie shapes and place on the baking tray on a parchment paper.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 F and bake for around 20 min .
  6. Enjoy hot cookie with kids !

Chocolate Arrowroot Cookies (Gluten Free)gluten

Ingredients

  1. Butter – 1/4 cup
  2. Molasses / Organic Brown Sugar / Jaggery  – 2 tbsp
  3. Almond butter – 1/8 cup
  4. Cocoa Powder – 2 tbsp
  5. Arrowroot Powder – 1/2 cup
  6. Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp

Direction

  1. Mix Sugar and Butter in a saucepan
  2. Remove from heat and add other ingredients.
  3. Allow to stand for ten minutes. If the dough is not firm enough, you could add some more arrowroot.
  4. Make small circles and press in to a mold .
  5. Pre heat oven for 350F and bake for 10 – 15 min.
  6. The cookie would still be soft when you remove from the oven after 15 min, allow it to cool so the cookie would get firm.
  7. Enjoy !

Chocolate-Avocado Waffle

Ingredients

  1. Avocado – 1
  2. Whole Wheat flour – 1 cup
  3. Unsweetened cocoa powder – 1/4 cup
  4. Banana – 1
  5. Egg – 1
  6. Whole Milk – 1 cup
  7. Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
  8. Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp

Direction

  1. Blend all the ingredients to form a smooth paste
  2. Make waffles using a waffle maker.
  3. Enjoy with Honey.
  4. Note: While using whole wheat, the waffle tend to get a little soft. If you want it to be crispy keep the waffles on the waffle maker for longer time, and in lower heat. And also make sure, you use less amount of dough for each waffle.

Banane-chocolat

Ingredients

  1. Banana – 1 big
  2. Cocoa Powder (Unsweetened) – 1 tbsp
  3. Honey – 1 tbsp
  4. Coconut Oil – 1 tbsp
  5. Vanilla Essence – 1/2 tsp.
  6. Milk (if needed ) – 3 – 5 drops (If vegan, use coconut milk)

Direction

  1. Cut the banana into round shapes.
  2. Mix Ingredients from #2 to #5 to form a smooth texture.If you need some drops of milk use it, else Ingredient#6 is optional.
  3. Dip the bananas one by one in the chocolate mix to cover the bananas completely.
  4. Refrigerate the bananas till the outer chocolate is hard.

Chocolate Banana Pudding (GlutenFree, Sugarless, Eggless)

Yummy Healthy Chocolate Pudding that no Kids can resist. Whats more, its sugar less !!

Ingredients

    1.  Milk – 16 oz  (approx 2 cups )
    2.  Banana – 3 (If they are really big two would suffice)
    3. Arrow Root Powder – 1/4 cup
    4. Cocoa Powder – 1/3 cup
    5. Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp

Direction

  1. Blend bananas , some milk ,  vanilla essence in a blender / mixer.
  2. Add cocoa powder and blend more till the powder is mixed in.
  3. Dissolve the arrow root powder in little milk and stir with a spoon, so no lumps remain.
  4. Add the arrow root with the banana, milk, cocoa mixture , and transfer to a saucepan.
  5. Add Vanilla Essence.
  6. Stir continuously in medium heat, until the pudding thickens.
  7. Transfer to a bowl , and refrigerate. (You could also keep this in freezer if you need this sooner.
